ERGSS Traveler Safety Messages Emergency Response and Global Security Solutions, LLC (ERGSS). Effective October 27, 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern ERGSS (Emergency Response & Global Security Solutions, LLC) text messages and automated calls, including the SMS Terms below. By opting in to ERGSS text messages you agree to them.

SMS Terms

What these messages are

ERGSS sends text messages and automated calls to travelers, staff and trip leaders enrolled in an ERGSS Duty of Care program by their school, company or organization, and to ERGSS watch officers. Messages include your assignment and app link, check-in reminders and check-in requests, safety and threat alerts for your location, health notices, your pre-trip brief, replies from the ERGSS watch officer, and emergency pages. ERGSS does not send marketing or promotional messages.

How you opt in

You opt in to ERGSS text messages by ticking the box "Text me safety messages for this trip" on your trip's ERGSS sign-up page, after entering your mobile number. The box is not pre-ticked, and the disclosure next to it explains what we send, message frequency, that message and data rates may apply, and how to reply STOP or HELP. We record the date and time you opted in. If you leave the box unticked you receive email and app messages only. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies with your trip and conditions. Most travelers receive a few messages a day while travelling; more are sent during an emergency or when a threat is reported near you.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier, especially for roaming outside the United States.

How to stop or get help

Reply STOP to any ERGSS text to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts. Reply START to resume. Reply HELP for help, or contact info@ergss.com or (202) 978-2666.

If you stop texts while travelling, you can still use the ERGSS Field app and email, but you may miss urgent alerts sent by text.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed, particularly outside the United States or without mobile signal.

Privacy

Mobile information is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy at ergss.com/privacy-policy for how we handle your information.
